Dubai

The city of Dubai, also called Dubayy, is the capital of the emirate of Dubai. This is one of the seven emirates that make up the federation of the United Arab Emirates. It was founded in 1971 after independence from Great Britain. The city of Dubai has a complicated history, which has led to numerous explanations for its name. Some say it alludes to a market that used to be outside of the city; while others say it has something to do with the daba. Daba is a species of locust that plagues the region. Dubai has emerged as the Middle East’s preeminent entrepôt in recent years, earning comparisons to Singapore and Hong Kong. Amounting to 3,415 acres (35 square km). In addition, it has an estimated 2017 population of 2,919,178.

Dubai was once a little fishing village on the Arabian Gulf. Through the years, it has grown into one of the world’s most diverse and multicultural metropolises. The city is home to over 200 different nationalities and provides an amazing experience for all tourists.

All around Dubai, from the waterfront of the Creek to the peak of the Burj Khalifa, the tallest skyscraper in the world, there is an air of possibility and invention. The magnificent cityscapes, stunning desert, and stunning coastlines all offer the perfect backdrop for making unforgettable memories.

The City’s Personality

Dubai has skyscrapers, ports, and beaches. It is a city where high-stakes trade and sun-seeking tourists coexist. This city’s big ex-pat community gives it the feel of a Middle Eastern melting pot. In the city, religion is not a major part of people’s lives. Even though Islam is the dominant religion in Dubai, Christians and Hindus can worship peacefully side by side in the city’s many mosques.

Because of its low crime rate and welcoming business climate, Dubai has experienced phenomenal development in recent years.

Things to do in Dubai

Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo

Do you want to visit one of the world’s most impressive aquariums? Do not miss the Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo’s massive 10 million-liter tank. It is home to more than 33,000 aquatic animals including the world’s largest collection of sand tiger sharks. The main aquarium tank is one of the largest suspended aquariums in the world at 51 meters in length, 20 meters in width, and 11 meters in height. Visitors can explore it in a variety of ways.

The aquarium has an incredible variety of marine life. It is located on the third floor of the mall and is a popular destination for tourists of all ages. Take a stroll down a 48-meter-long tunnel where the aquarium will surround you on all sides. Fish-eye perspective all the way, with stingrays and sand tiger sharks gliding by overhead.

This is a sea of unforgettable memories. You may also get a mermaid makeover, go snorkeling in a cage, or even swim with sharks if you’re prepared to wear an oxygen tank. The zoo is home to a wide variety of creatures, including the 750-kilogram, 5-meter-long crocodile known as “King Croc.”

Burj Khalifa

The Burj Khalifa has become a symbol of Dubai and the United Arab Emirates. This is because of its status as the world’s tallest building. An architectural marvel, the building stands for Dubai’s conceptual essence.

This 828-meter-tall architectural wonder is adjacent to Dubai Mall and has been a popular tourist destination since it opened in 2010. Both the At the Top on floors 124 and 125 and the 148th-floor observation deck, which is one of the highest in the world at 555 meters, offer visitors a chance to take in the Burj Khalifa’s unparalleled panorama.

The towering structure is simply three pieces grouped around a central core. Hymenocallis flower was the inspiration. When seen from above, it conforms to the pattern of onion domes common in Islamic buildings. The area around the tower’s base is a bustling center of dining and entertainment, home to the Dubai Mall, the musically choreographed Dubai Fountain, and many other sights.

Desert Safari Dubai

A desert safari in Dubai is the best way to explore the huge and beautiful desert that covers much of the United Arab Emirates. Enjoy one of the city’s most exciting pursuits while gazing at the fiery sunset. The travel agency provides a range of packages, one of which involves a visit to Lahbab to see the tallest sand dune in Dubai, affectionately dubbed “Big Red” for its striking hue.
